KOF Done Right – King of Fighters XIII Review

So it looks like my personal favorite fighting game series decided to make a real attempt at a game after their last console release of KOF XII. The effort was quite apparent with King of Fighters XIII. The game immediately shows you the depth that was missing in its predecessor with an assortment of modes. The game is still the traditional 2D fighter and has the unique and interesting artwork from the previous game. The...

Battlefield 3 is Good Company

As soon as I turned on the game I was immediately stunned by its beautiful presentation. Every time you think you’re watching some hi def prerecorded cinematic, you then realize that you are experiencing the actual physics and sound of gameplay. The main story’s characters are life-like in their emotions, their expressions and their movements. The campaign and multiplayer maps are vast and defined. NYCC 2011 – Mass Effect 3 on the Floor

At New York Comic Con, I got my hands on a Mass Effect 3 demo. The mission in the demo involved saving a Krogan female from Cerberus. Spoiler….Don’t anxiously anticipate your first sight of a female Krogan – long story short, all you get to see is her eyes… Mordin played a sort of 3rd party role throughout this mission which makes one wonder if he will be an actual usable character in this game....

Looking for that Dream Game – My Ideal Action RPG

I play pretty much anything that shows up on the screen.  But if I were to define my gaming style, I would say that I am a fan of both Fighting Games and Action RPG’s (MMO or not). I’m particularly a bit of a completionist especially when it comes to those Xbox Fighting Game achievements. I have to remind my friends where they stand: off in the distance behind me, somewhere near that falafel stand....

I Crowneth Thee, Lord of Chickens – Fable III Review

If you play the game, you’ll get the reference, I promise… Ever wished you could dress up like Paul Revere and shoot fireballs at wolves, bats, bandits or townspeople? If you did, then you have some problems and people fear you for non-intimidating reasons. You should hire some professional to listen to your rants. But if that’s a little over your budget, then you should definitely get Fable III. Fable is back, corralling all of...
