CES 2016: Bartesian Interview

Ah, booze is something that will always get my attention especially when I’m introduced to a product that will allow me to be my own bartender. Allow me to introduce you to Bartesian, the world’s first capsule-based cocktail machine. Being touted as both the Nespresso and Keurig for cocktails, Bartesian simplifies the entire cocktail experience. “Now you don’t have to be an expert to enjoy premium cocktails at home.  No expensive ingredients, no recipes, no hassle.†”

The Bartesian cocktail capsules are recyclable and contain all the non-alcoholic ingredients such as juices, bitters, and liqueurs. These are real liquid ingredients, not powders to ensure taste quality. The Bartesian machine has four alcohol reservoirs for the basic spirits: Vodka, Rum, Gin, and Tequila which should be all that you will ever need to provide other than water. And you can even choose the strength of your drink, from mocktail to triple shot.

Launching with six different flavors which include three classic cocktails as well as three signature recipes: Cosmopolitan, Margarita, Sex on the Beach, Zest Martini, Uptown Rocks, and Bartesian Breeze. Working hard to develop additional flavors as well as collaborated with cocktail experts, including Dee Brun the “Cocktail Deeva”, to ensure that their cocktails taste flawless and authentic.

Bartesian has an elegant European inspired design, a textured finish, and stainless steel accents with only three buttons. The screen guides you through the entire process and is small and compact to easily fit on your counter, home bar, pool deck, or even RV. It’s roughly the same size as your existing Keurig, if you need some sort of size reference.
