The KINGDOM HEARTS Orchestra World Tour hit New York City this past weekend and it was a spectacular event. The tour celebrates the 15th anniversary of the multi-million selling video game franchise featuring video compilations from the game which accompanied every song played by the orchestra. Voice actors Risa Uchida (Kairi / Xion) and Megumi Toyoguchi (Aqua) recorded three short voice sequences which were featured in the concert.

Audience members were also able to see a new KINGDOM HEARTS III gameplay trailer featuring never before seen footage based on Disney’s animated hit, “Hercules,” which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. In this action-packed trailer, Sora, Donald Duck and Goofy help Hercules battle various forms of Heartless on Mount Olympus through gorgeous visuals and gameplay. Fans saw Sora in a new form performing special powerful solo and joint attacks on his enemies. This gameplay trailer offered a glimpse into the game’s storyline when a reunion between Disney villains Hades, Maleficent and Pete revealed a discussion about the location of a mysterious item while Sora is faced with a dilemma in an effort to bring back an old friend.
