Last week, Samsung unveiled their latest additions to their smartphone line up in the form of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Samsung Galaxy Note 5. Each of these phones will share practically the same new build and new set of Samsung-added functionality. The now larger 5.7 inch Quad HD Super AMOLED screen will add more screen real-estate while not adding too much additional bulk to the devices themselves. Yet Samsung’s expectedly brilliant display is not they only thing these share. Let’s dive deeper.

Each of these phones will utilize the latest 16MP camera build that Samsung has to offer, reinforced by VDIS. VDIS is imaging software that will now work in conjunction with OIS (Smart Optical Image Stabilization) to solidify the stabilization in each of these Samsung devices’ recordings. That means even more stable 4K videos from both the Galaxy S6 Edge+ and the Galaxy Note 5.

The Galaxy S6 Edge+ and the Galaxy Note 5 will have wireless chargeability for their 3000 mAh batteries. Going further, these phones will now charge even faster than before with a 90 minute charge time when wired and a 2 hour charge time wirelessly. Also Samsung Sidesync, the wireless file syncing software will not only support both of these devices, but Samsung Sidesync will now be usable on both the latest Windows and Mac operating systems.

Both the Galaxy S6 Edge+ and the Galaxy Note 5 will be available globally starting from August 2015 and will come in the following color options: White Pearl, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum and Silver Titanium. Here are the specifics.
