Ubisoft E3 Highlights

Ubisoft came out with the an apologetic tone, it’s no secret to them that between multiple botched Assassins Creeds, the intrusive nature of Uplay, excessive delayed games and the lack luster performance of Watch Dogs; they have a lot to prove. Ubisoft met this criticism head on and announced a solid collection of games that plays to the best aspects of the publisher. NEW GAMES South Park: the Fractured Butthole: The follow up to the rated...

Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth

Ubisoft has picked up the Marvel mantle with a new game, Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth,  a motion controlled fighting game featuring 20 heroes and villains including the Hulk, Spider-man, Iron man, Wolverine and more. This Week in Gaming – E3 Edition (Week Ending 6/3/12)

This week I think shall refrain from the regular gaming news recap and just go straight into the E3 links you need to know. If you’re not sure what E3 is, it stands for the Electronic Entertainment Expo and it used to be sole source for huge gaming announcements. Over the years that has changed a bit, with other conferences becoming the spotlight for gaming announcements but E3 remains and with it comes the annual...

In case you missed it, here’s this week in gaming (Week ending 4/20/12)

In the week that ended with bad jokes about 420, it was pretty uneventful. A few games were announced for 2013. And betas were opened for all the world to see. We also got a brief walkthrough of Pax East from our very own Steph, who was featured on Xplay! So, let’s look at the week that was, in case you missed it!

Modest Law’s PAX East’er Weekend Round Up!

So PAX East’er weekend as come and gone and while you were out macking on chocolate eggs and jelly beans, I was out being awesome! (And by awesome, I mean nearly crippling myself with the amount of walking and driving I did this week) Through the rest of the week I‘ll go into greater detail on games I got to spend some significant time with: games like Transcript, Quantum Conundrum, Sleeping Dogs, and more! But...

Assassin’s Creed III Concept Art & Screenshots

Assassin’s Creed III was announced early this month and I’m not going to lie: I need a lot of convincing. I love that the Assassin’s Creed franchise was set in a period that wasn’t covered in a Call of Duty title. But with the understanding that with each numbered title, we are actually playing through a different ancestor’s memories where for some reason it took three games to go through Ezio’s memories but whatever. Let’s forget...

Uber First Impressions Preview – Just Dance Kids, Just Dance 3, Abba, The Black Eyed Peas Experience

Lets just say it: UbiSoft has definitely stepped it up to a whole other level when it comes to music and rhythm games. Or maybe just casual games in general. It was just a few weeks ago when I absolutely fell in love with Rocksmith and now there are a few other musical titles that I’m getting all excited about again. Give me a few moments to explain, I was lucky enough to try...
