Royal Flush Magazine Presents: HISPANIC BATMAN – The Collected Archives, Vol.1

Coming July 22, 2010!!!

Royal Flush Magazine has finally answered your dreams, and painstakingly assembled all the Hispanic Batman adventures into one gigante limited-edition volume.

Royal Flush Presents
The Collected Archive Volume 1

Limited to 1,000 copies, each is perfect-bound, signed and numbered and available only at the 2010 San Diego Comic Con.

Created in 1997, Hispanic Batman is the retarded brainchild of Royal Flush creators and comic artists Erik Rodriguez and Josh Bernstein. This parody of the classic comics character has certainly found his unique voice over the last few years tackling the tough issues like immigration, slavery, politics and even American Idol and Hugh Hefner.

Light-hearted, goofy, offensive and extremely well drawn, Hispanic Batman’s charms are irresistible. Appearing in every Royal Flush, Hispanic Batman all his adventures are gathered here into one 80-page tome.

In honor of this special edition, many top comic artists and illustrators banded together to try their hand at the famed Caped Conquistador. Tim Bradstreet (Punisher, Hellblazer, Batman) came aboard to do the killer cover that adorns this book. His take on the Brown Knight gives salute to both Adam West’s campy portrayal of the character and the great Mexican cinema art of the ‘50s and ‘60s.

In addition, there’s over 25 pages of exclusive and brand-new comics and pin-ups from such Royal Flush artists as Danny Hellman, Steve Chanks, Ryan Dunlavey, Matt Siren, Sean Pryor, Brent Engstrom, Patrick McQuade, Woodrow J. Hinton III, Tanxxx, Frank Powers!, Cojo, Luis Diaz, Jayro Lantigua, Pat Sentman, Jim Mazza, Adam Turman, John Jagusak, Jesse Philips and Kristin Koefoed.

The Hispanic Batman Collected Archives, Vol.1 is completely self-published and will only be limited to this 1,000 copy edition. If any copies are left after the San Diego Comic Con they will be available on a first come, first serve basis on for $15 plus shipping and handling.

[…] Royal Flush to release Hispanic Batman archive at Comic-Con […]

hi, accidentally came across your website while searching for batman related fantasy art posters and on reading the write up on how hispanic batman idea and screenprint was produced, my question is, “I’m starting up a complimentary business to do with such type of posters (I call it fantasy art) which will hopefully compliment my current business (silly helmet covers) so would the artists who submitted their works for the hispanic batman be interested in contacting me to see if the opportunity exists for me to re-sell their artwork (batman or whatever other fantasy art characters they do) in UK / Europe initially?”

Martin (in UK)

Hey if I share the same name as the leading artist can I get a copy on the free? I wish to further expand the outreaches of the Erik brand. May the special “k” lettering and and hispanic last name combination become a solid foundation for the Erik Rodriguez Alliance. That will be founded shortly. This copy can serve as a founding text of sorts. anyways get at me. I look forward to getting ahold of Erik.
