Fable II Review!

Fable II Review!

Developed by Lionhead Studios, Fable II is a fantasy RPG.

Fable II for the SeXbox 360 is a great sequel to the 2004 Xbox original Fable.  Fable II has a completely new story with a brand new character.  You choose whether to be a male or a female character at the start of the game.  Also introduced in this sequel, you’ll have a fine furry companion at your side to help you in your quests.

During the course of the game you will age.  Eat a lot of bad food and you’ll gain weight, eat healthy and you’ll stay thin.  Just alike the original Fable, the more corrupt and evil you become, the uglier you get.  Basically, if you do enough bad shit you’ll look a lot like Hellboy with horns and all.  People will react accordingly depending on your attitude and looks.

You can get married, get divorced, become gay, stay straight.  You can buy houses, shops, and stalls to become king of the world and make millions of gold.  Maybe not millions, but pretty close.

Enough of that, let us get to the review.  This game is much longer than the first one, but that isn’t saying much on account you can beat the first one in a weekend.  To complete the ‘story’ of the game you can do it in about a week.  Fortunately, there is a lot more to do once you finish the story.  Some quests only become available once the story is finished and there is a lot to buy in order to rule the kingdom.

The game is very smooth, not too many graphical errors in the single player game.  There seems to be a lag problem when playing online.  You’ll kill all of the enemies and your partner will still be swinging away at the foe that is no longer alive.

The game is rather easy to beat, the quests don’t pose too much of a challenge.  The ending leaves a lot to be desired though.  I felt a little let down upon completion.  There really was no sigh of relief which you like to feel when you beat a game.

This game does offer a lot, and was put together very nicely.  All and all I give this game a 5 out of 5 on my “I have no problem being married to a chick and a guy” scale.  I hope this review has helped you and if you have anything to add please do so in a comment below.  I’m Lil Nubi keeping you hip in the Video Game World!
