Prometheus promotion in Paris subway stationA disused Metro station in Paris has been transformed into an advertisement for Ridley Scott’s film Prometheus. The centerpiece is an eerie carved stone head, which also features prominently in the film’s poster. The film will have certain things in common with those of Scott’s Alien series (“strands of DNA,” as Scott has described it), but Prometheus is not, as originally conceived, a prequel to those films.

Prometheus stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba, Logan Marshall-Green and Charlize Theron, and is scheduled to open June 8 in the United States. Additionally, it looks freaking awesome. Here’s the full trailer:
