Boy, have we had an extremely productive E3 and we aren’t even there! Maybe that will change next year but for now we really hope you have enjoyed the live blogs and the posts. Today, we share our overall recap of Day One where I sat with Rich from My Take Radio and run through all the keynotes from E3 2014. From Microsoft to Sony, we chat about them all and go off on various different tangents. We even wonder what Nintendo might have up it’s sleeves for this year’s E3.
With the first day of E3 in the books, we felt that Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft and Sony had some solid showings. Rich and I break down the keynotes and share their thoughts on the announcements. While at times, it may seem like he’s too opinionated and caustic to a fault—it was great to have Rich bring a different “take” to the E3 hoopla. While each keynote brought a sizable amount of offerings to gamers, there was truly a level play field as developers were beginning to embrace the hardware capabilities of each system. This is the time where we can just sit back and see what developers are going to come out with next.
