KOR-FX (Immersive Gaming Vest) by Immerz Inc.

Debuted at SXSW Gaming Expo this year, the KOR-FX uses acousto-haptic technology to produce environmental feedback for its wearer. Gamers can now immerse themselves even further in their gaming world as they can experience the bursts from their guns, feel explosions or evensense enemy vehicles as they approach. The vest itself is very light and the opposite of cumbersome when worn given its small and practical form factor. It’s so comfortable, you can take the KOR-FX out of the game and into R&R to feel the bass in your favorite music or feel the roar in your movies. Media entertainment now reaches past just video and audio.

The KOR-FX is customizable, leaving the intensity, field depth and left/right differentiation totally up to the user. Immerz Inc. promises the release of a dev kit in the near future, opening the door to endless possibilities in how we experience our media. The KOR-FX is available now for $150.
