King of Fighters Allstar made a big splash last year, weeks after the mobile game’s global release with its KOF Allstar X Tekken collaboration event. The event featured a hardy collection of Tekken characters to collect and mash up with or against the KOF Allstar fighter roster. Today, Netmarble introduced another collaboration event with this highly-touted mobile fighter and beat-em-up title. Teaming up with SNK, the King of Fighters Allstar X Samurai Shodown event will feature several Samurai Shodown characters to collect and mix up with in the game’s ever-expanding roster. Like, with the Tekken collaboration, the Samurai Shodown event will last for a limited time, with characters to be collected either via quests or via gatcha rolls through character summons.
Professional fighting gamer, Justin Wong, will help kick off the event in a live Twitch stream to showcase some of the latest additions to the game. The live stream will take place today, Feb. 25 at 4:00 p.m. PT, which can be seen at here: https://www.twitch.tv/playkofallstar
