KMFDM: Kunst Album Cover

KMFDM – “KUNST”
Industrial Gods KMFDM have returned with their eighteenth studio album entitled KUNST.  Picking up where they left off on their 2011 release “WTF!”, KMFDM have just finished up their 2013 US tour.  Title track “Kunst” explains how the band truly feels about their good friends Depeche Mode with their ongoing chant of “Kill Mother Fucking Depeche Mode” which is what fans once that K.M.F.D.M. once stood for.  Sticking with the formula that has gotten them this far, this is another great album for the industrial enthusiast in the family.  Grandpa, this one is for you!

Mindless Self Indulgence

Mindless Self Indulgence – “How I Learned To Stop Giving A Shit And Love Mindless Self Indulgence”
Jungle Pussy Punk is how MSI describes themselves, and I have no idea what that means but I absolutely love it.  Using Kickstarter to fund their fifth studio album, the kids in MSI are back to pushing the envelope with songs entitled “Fuck Machine”, “I Want To Be Black”, and “Kill You In A Hip Hop Rage” just to name a few.  Being a fan of MSI for what I can only declare as forever, this album is great.  Their first single “Witness” being one of the best songs on the album.  Jimmy clearly states why MSI is the best, and who am I to deny that?  This album is a perfect gift for your unborn child!

The Birthday Massacre - Hide and Seek

The Birthday Massacre – “Hide And Seek”
Alright, so I confess that this album didn’t come out in 2013; however, it did come out in the latter portion of last year and The Birthday Massacre is still currently touring to promote this album so I think it’s fair enough to include this album in this year’s guide.  Chibi’s calming vocals, and the band’s omniscient, electronic music, you are in for a treat.  This is also The Birthday Massacre’s fifth studio release.  It is a wonderful sequel to their acclaimed “Pins And Needles” album which came out in 2010.  Is your mom hard to buy for?  Well my friends, this one is for her!

I think you might be able to enter to win one here!

Soul Transform

Soul Transform Headset
Want to be as fit as your in-game avatar without stopping the music? How about an affordable rugged headset with quality sound that you can take with you on any terrain? “Transform” your workouts with Soul Transform headphones that only cost a respectable $99. The battle-ready Soul headphones endorsed by Tim Tebow is rugged, lightweight, chock full of features, and maintains a steady grip on your head despite its cloud-like weight and presence. Are you extra sweaty? The ear cups pop off and are washable. The unit even has an in-line controller and mic combo for music and phone call handling straight from the headset. Their comfort and quality alone would induce buyers to get it just for casual listening at a modest price point. I would suggest this for anyone who is active and likes to keep their mind entertained as they train.
