Can’t have an Xbox without a brand spanking new Halo title. In the wee hours of the morning 343 and Microsoft released the initial teaser art, logo and box art for the upcoming installment in the Halo franchise—Halo 5: Guardians. And in case you might have forgotten, Microsoft hinted at a new Halo during last year’s E3 Conference. Back then, not much was shown. Just a cloaked Master Chief walking through a desert clutching, what I could only imagine, the remains of Cortana resembling a military id tag. And if you didn’t play through Halo 4, spoiler alert, Cortana disappears. Wiped away, if you will. And with E3 only a few weeks away, we shouldn’t be at all shocked that Microsoft has let the cat out of the bag with regards to Halo 5.
I, for one, am curious to see what is in store for Master Chief. Is anyone else excited for this or do you guys think it might be more of the same and nothing really innovative might be announced?
So don’t forget the following:

Additionally, just in case you might have missed it the first time around, I dug up the Halo teaser trailer from last year’s E3 coverage and included it here for your convenience.
You’re welcome.
