Audience members loved seeing their beloved characters on stage and I really loved the fact that every aspect of KINGDOM HEARTS was featured. The KINGDOM HEARTS Orchestra played songs that highlighted the world of KINGDOM HEARTS, the Heroes & Heroines, Villains, and tons more. Additionally, cosplayers could be found in the lobby during intermission showcasing their talents and taking photos.
Also found in the lobby was exclusive tour merchandise. An exclusive line of products that are only available for sale at each performance featured a stunning 48-page concert program with the first ever cross-interview between director Tetsuya Nomura and composer Yoko Shimomura, as well as many music notes and gorgeous illustrations. There was also an official T-shirt with an original illustration, a Chief Conductor Keyblade with a stand-in deluxe box, an elegant pouch and cardholder. The items are all available on their online shop.
Ultimately, it was a memorable night that was capped with Composer Yoko Shimomura being in attendance and playing alongside the Orchestra. This is something that any fan can only dream of. As we continue to wait for KH III to be released, I deeply appreciate the KINGDOM HEARTS Orchestra World Tour coming to New York City and uniting tons of fans together for a memorable weekend.
