Earlier this year, TBS debuted King of The Nerds which “[featured] competitors from across the nerd spectrum facing challenges that test their intellect, ingenuity, skills and pop-culture prowess”† where only one will walk away with $100,000 and the title of “King of The Nerds”. During New York Comic Con 2013, I got the chance to sit down and chat with past contestant Genevieve and “The People’s Nerd” Josh who “will now compete against 10 other nerds from around the country when King of the Nerds kicks off its second season Thursday, Jan. 23, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), only on TBS”†. We learn more about the challenges, prepping for the season, and how console gaming will never compare to PCs.
But our exclusive New York Comic Con interviews don’t end there. Later on I was joined but King of The Nerds hosts Robert Carradine (Revenge of the Nerds, The Long Riders) and Curtis Armstrong (Revenge of the Nerds, Ray). We dish about Season 2 and what ultimately sets apart this show from all other reality competition shows.
Be sure to mark your calendars for the return of King of The Nerds on Thursday, Jan. 23, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), only on TBS!
