This year’s New York City Comic Con was my gaming mecca! The moment my eyes caught the Square Enix booth I knew what my main objective was: “Final Fantasy XIII-2”. Playable at this year’s New York Comic Con was an early build of the game, one that was probably discussed by main others, but still filled with tons of goodies that I couldn’t wait to share with you folks. So without further ado, let’s get on with a run down of what I found out…

Battlefield 3 Beta Sneak Peek
One of the most anticipated and talked about games for 2011 is no doubt Battlefield 3. The beta goes live for the world on September 29th, but for cool people like myself, as well as people who bought last year’s Medal of Honor, who may themselves also be cool people, get to dive into the […]
Uber First Impressions Preview – Just Dance Kids, Just Dance 3, Abba, The Black Eyed Peas Experience
Lets just say it: UbiSoft has definitely stepped it up to a whole other level when it comes to music and rhythm games. Or maybe just casual games in general. It was just a few weeks ago when I absolutely fell in love with Rocksmith and now there are a few other musical titles […]
Ubisoft Discusses Dynamic Difficulty in “Rocksmith” [Video]
Being one of the most anticipated musical rhythm games, Rocksmith tries to explain the dynamic difficulty component found in the game. Everything from song selection to why introducing such a concept is covered in the video by UbiSoft’s Paul Cross. If you don’t know about the awesomeness that is Rocksmith, why not check out my […]
Twister™ Mania First Impressions
Puzzle games are my addiction. Tetris, Puzzle Fighter, Bejeweled, Lumines; yes, I loved them all. So when I got the chance to play Twister™ Mania I was a little perplexed. How could a puzzle game for the Kinect work exactly? And most of all, how can this work with two or more friends?
Dead Island Review
Zombie games are popular, like em or hate em, that’s a fact. Even still, many gamers have been crying out for a 4 player coop open world zombie action RPG. It’s the kind of game no one has even really tried to attempt up to this point. Now we have one in the form […]
Rocksmith goes to ELEVEN – First Impression Preview
It was about a year ago when the web buzzed about Rock Band 3 and it’s ability to finally allow gamers a way to learn how to play guitar and bass. However, it’s innovative buzz came and went. I hardly ever see a pro player on multiplayer these days. Instead, the uniqueness of the game was […]
On the Outside, Looking In – PSN Outage Thoughts
I have always had this internal struggle with myself. Growing up, I owned the original Playstation and was definitely a Sony fan girl. In fact, part of me still is. I own a Sony mini-disc player, Walkman, camera, memory cards, PDA (Personal Digital Assistant), PSP, and a slim Playstation 2. So, when the Playstation 3 […]
G#$ F#$KIN D@$M D#@K T*&S, It’t the BulletStorm Review!
Back when I interviewed Cliff Bleszinski last fall, One of the things he was particularly proud of was his work with BulletStorm. The game boast a witty humor Duke Nukem fans will love and the tagline to “Kill with Skill,” but is the game just a free bonus included with the Gears of War 3 Beta, or […]
Rock Band 3 Review
It can be hard to believe that the original Guitar Hero just came out only 5 years ago. In that time, we’ve seen music games flourish, evolve, oversaturate the market and then get pushed aside for the next big cash-in for publishers (Modern War Shooters.) Harmonix, the driving force for music games, has gone through quite […]
