Pebble Returns to Kickstarter
Clearly everyone knows a good thing when they see it on Kickstarter! Early Tuesday Morning, Pebble announced their the launch of a new Kickstarter for the next release: Pebble Time.

A new Pebble watch which continues to have a long lasting battery life, a sleeker design and innovative time line interface. With Pebble Time, you can keep tabs on your past present and future. Being able to look up events that occurred a while ago to even taking a glance at upcoming meetings, the Pebble Time is meant to help you accomplish more. On top of all that, the Pebble Time also has a built in microphone that allows you to send quick voice message directly from the watch.

Key Features of Pebble Time

  • The watch: Pebble Time features a revolutionary new color e-paper display and a new microphone, while maintaining an industry-leading battery life of up to 7 days. It’s water-resistant, is 20% thinner than the original Pebble, and has an ergonomic, curved design.
  • New timeline interface: Pebble Time introduces a new version of Pebble OS that organizes relevant information like notifications, weather, news, travel, and reminders chronologically. Instead of having to open an app, everything is at-a-glance, helping you accomplish more throughout your day.
  • The Weather Channel, ESPN, Jawbone, Evernote, and Pandora are among the first partners building unique experiences for the new OS. As with all Pebble software, Pebble Time is built on an open platform and introduces many new APIs and tools for developers.
  • Kickstarter: Pebble Time is available in three colors for $159 exclusively on Kickstarter, with worldwide shipping to backers starting in May. Later this year, Pebble Time will retail for $199 and be available online at getpebble.com and in stores worldwide.

Now that the project is fully funded, we highly suggest you head on over to the Kickstarter blog and check out Pebble’s first six hours of fundraising. Oh and don’t forget to grab a watch! We’re going to!
