TYLT Smart Charger 7X Review

TYLT Smart Charger 7XThe weather is getting warmer. Days are getting longer. We’re all looking forward to spending more time outdoors. However, the one thing we fear whenever we spend a prolonged length of time away from home is having our electronics powerless. With heavy reliance on our electronics, we often recommend solutions like the TYLT ENERGI PRO bag that can keep you organized and powered while on-the-go. But if you’re not in the market for a new backpack, we have found another alternative: the TYLT Smart Charger 7X.

The TYLT Smart Charger 7X is both a portable battery pack and a wall charger for USB-C compatible devices and laptops. Boosting a 13,400 mAh battery and QuickCharge 3.0 Technology, you can ensure that all of your devices will charge at the fasted rate possible. The Smart Charger 7X is lightweight and contains an embedded USB-C cable for rapid charging while out and about. There are also USB and USB-C ports along the side that can be used to charge additional devices as well as charge the portable battery pack if there isn’t a wall outlet available.

I found myself being able to comfortably fit the TYLT Smart Charger 7X in most of my handbags which made it perfect to bring along whenever I didn’t feel like trekking around with a backpack. The charger itself charged fairly quickly (in about approximately 2-3 hours) and was able to charge my phone several times over. Unfortunately, since I do not own the new Macbook which utilizes USB-C, I was unable to see if the Smart Charger 7X is able to fully charge the MacBook. However, if you’re looking for a portable battery that is able to charge a multitude of devices while out and about, then this is the device for you.

TYLT Smart Charger 7X

If you’re looking for a portable battery that is not only capable of charging your USB-C phones and devices but a Type-C laptop as well, then you need to check out the TYLT Smart Charger 7X available for only $99.99.
